General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) Maneuver Collaboration Center (mc2) is sponsoring a Light Weight Vehicle Structure Industry Day in support of a pending fast turn-around Supply Chain Management Request for Proposal (RFP). Suppliers with a footprint in Michigan are specifically being sought.

The mc2 collaboration process is being used to gather capabilities of interested Suppliers.

Need Statement: Process Technology
Need Statement details include: Interested suppliers should be able to execute the some or all of the following tasks: composite part detail design CAD models, metal part detail design CAD models, assembly drawing PDFs, fabrication of composite parts, fabrication of metal parts, assembly of entire turret structure, and finite element analysis or the entire turret structure.

Please view the Need Statement within mc2 community and then create a corresponding Innovation Solution within the tool, which highlights your firm’s capabilities and experience in this area. All Innovative
The GDLS Lightweight Vehicle Structure Team will review the submissions. Companies with relevant capabilities that match the specific need will receive a formal invitation to the October 15th Industry Day at the GDLS mc2 facility in Sterling Heights, MI.
A Statement of Work will be provided at the Industry Day. Suppliers interested in participating will need to be able to respond quickly to formal Supply Chain requests; targeted deadline late October 2013.
All Innovative Solutions for consideration must be submitted by COB: October 4, 2013.
