Grand Rapids Area SOLIDWORKS User Group Meeting – September 10

GRASWUGThe meeting will start approximately 5:30 and close around 8:30.

Introductions will start at 5:30 with the first presentation starting around 6:00. We will have something to eat and drink before the meeting gets underway. Each presentation will be about 1 hour long with a break in between. This is just an estimate though.

If there is time at the end of the meeting we will take questions or issues you might have with a project and try to answer them.

Location Address:
Comfort Suites Grand Rapids North
350 Dodge St
Comstock Park, MI 49321

There will be no dues required for this event.

John MacArthur from DASI Solutions will be giving a presentation on taking 3D Solidworks part files directly to CNC machining. If you are currently sending blueprint to your shop and re-programming the data into CNC then this is a must see for you. Dean Anderson and Chris Petersen will be giving a presentation about taking 3D printed parts to a cast mold using a Wire Thermal Spray technology. This is a quick way to create fairly in-expensive molds for small production runs.
