DASI Solutions Hosts 4th Annual STEM Summit

STEM Education with SOLIDWORKS

DASI Solutions is very excited to host another STEM Summit this month for the 4th year in a row! Like in years past, the event will be held at the Lafayette Grande, right across the street from our DASI Solutions headquarters office in Downtown Pontiac.

We at DASI Solutions take great pride in this event. Throughout each year, we are involved with numerous STEM initiatives which include trades hows, community events, as well as facility tours and open houses of our in-house STEM Studio. Bringing both business and education together for this event is just one way that we try to help bridge the skilled trade’s gap that has been left by the retiring “baby boomers”. Invited to this event are educators, counselors, economic and community leaders and various competition teams, among others.

There will be many exciting things being discussed at this year’s event; something for everyone! Some topics that you can expect to hear about include:

  • What’s New in SOLIDWORKS Education Edition 2016-2017
  • SOLIDWORKS Simulation Suite
  • Academic Research Licenses
  • Industrial Design Technician Apprenticeship Program
  • Internationally recognized SOLIDWORKS Certifications (CSWA & CSWP)
  • Student Competitions (FIRST Robotics, Formula SAE, VEX Robotics, Mites)

Everyone is confident that the event this year will be bigger and better than previous years! In addition to the SOLIDWORKS presentations there will be live demonstrations, networking and of course tons of great info. Bringing together business and education to help secure the future workforce is something that DASI Solutions takes very seriously, and is proud to be a part of.

Whether you are an educator, business owner, community leader or counselor there is always a place for you to become involved with STEM Initiatives. If you would like to know more information about DASI Solution’s annual STEM Summit, please contact Annette Norris at
