What is your role at DASI?
DASI Solutions holds great pride in being a trusted advisor to our customers for all things related to the SOLIDWORKS line of products. I work as a liaison between our existing customer base, technical teams, and DS SOLIDWORKS to ensure our customers have the best experience and maintain the utmost confidence in working with DASI Solutions.
How long have you been working at DASI?
I have worked for DASI since the acquisition of DDI, which was just over a year ago and worked for DDI for 13 years prior to that. The last 14 years of my life have been spent with a SOLIDWORKS reseller!
What do you enjoy most about working for DASI?
My favorite part is definitely the customers. I love getting to know people and seeing how they use our software to solve their design challenges and to create the best products in the world.
Before working at DASI, what was the most unusual or interesting job you had?
I had a lot of part time jobs before DASI, I waitressed for years during and after college while looking for a full-time job. I ended up landing a job with a Xerox reseller selling office equipment; it was such a hard job! Copier sales people are a dime a dozen and, in my experience, customers are not very nice to cold calling sales people! However, while working that job, I had the good fortune of selling a copier to the owner of DDI, Pat Lindsay, and he ended up offering me a job at DDI and that’s where I spent the next 13 years of my career! Pat then sold his business to the good people of DASI and now the journey continues…
