Advanced Manufacturing Expo

Written by: Kayla Savale, Marketing Coordinator

For many years, west Michigan has been known for its furniture, vacation spots and breweries. Having one of our offices right outside Downtown Grand Rapids, the employees of DASI Solutions are able to experience the diversity that the west side of the state has to offer. The Grand Rapids area has become home to a number of growing small businesses in recent years, especially as an entertainment district.

Speaking of Grand Rapids, the second annual Advanced Manufacturing Expo will be taking place next month. DASI Solutions is very excited to participate in the show this year, where over 100 vendors are expected to showcase their businesses, industries and technologies for the Manufacturing industry.

As stated prior, this is the second annual Advanced Manufacturing Expo. This year, The DeltaPlex will be the host of this expo, right in the heart of Downtown Grand Rapids. The show will run August 10 – August 11. This show will be the largest public show in Michigan that showcases technology solutions and talent for manufacturers and vendors. Organizers for the show stated that they needed more than triple the floor space than last year’s show which was held at the Pinnacle Center in Hudsonville. This accommodation will allow for a large number both new and returning exhibitors to represent a wide range of advanced manufacturing technologies. Also new this year, MI Works will host a job fair for employers that want to attract skilled tradespersons, engineers and other local talent. The exhibition and job fair will take a total of 33,000 square feet of space with room for 190 booths.

Make sure to stop by the show and see DASI Solutions at booth #49! Our exhibit will showcase the SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD Product Portfolio, our US Department of Labor registered Apprenticeship Program and our 3D Printing capabilities. Attendance to this show is free, but be sure to register at
